Tie rods and general threaded bars
Formwork searches may use several names for a tie component. The actual thread system matters: a general-purpose metric threaded bar is not automatically a replacement for a formwork tie rod. Provide the marking or a photo of your existing fixing.
Length and matching nuts
The length must account for the concrete thickness and the complete fixing assembly on both sides. Nuts and bearing plates must match the selected rod. State the quantity of each part; the anchoring system parameters follow the design.
Frequently asked questions
Can I use an ordinary threaded bar?
Appearance or diameter alone cannot establish a suitable replacement. Check the thread system, properties and design requirements.
Are nuts included with the rod?
Rods, nuts and bearing components can be quoted separately or as a set. Specify your required configuration.
How do I order the right length?
Enter the length, quantity and formwork system. If the marking is unknown, our manager can help identify the component from photos and dimensions.
